Getting rid of the obscuring widget?

How do I get rid of the really ugly and obcuring lockscreen widget? I have 4.3 on my SGS3 LTE and latest Spotify version. I really don't need the widget.

There's no way to do this in the spotify app but you can get the Lockscreen Policy app and turn of the lockscreen widgets using that.
