Have you tried wiping the cache/a clean install of Spotify?

Spotify just uses the built in android BT routibes so it should work exactly the same as any other music app. What are you streaming ove BT to?

Are you saying you can streaam music you have made available offline from spotify but not otherwise?

I can play music i have available offline but when i trying to stream anything it just drops out constantly. I am streaming to an avantree saturn receiver.

no problems with other apps (deezer for example)

Just out of interest, do you get drop-outs when you stream spotify content while using earphones?

only while using bluetooth.

no issue when using aux cable.

HI,

I'm using an HTC One_M8 and stream via Bluetooth to my Car's Stereo just fine.

What HTC Phone are you using, and what Android version is it? Can you try deleting the pairing and trying again. Can you try using another media application such as the inbuilt music player to see if there are any issues with this?

Does this happen on other streaming services? You sometimes fine mobile devices either have shared antennas or they struggle to power both (WiFi/mobile network and bluetooth).

i haven't tried that, I suppose that is my next step.

will give it a go this evening, clean install straight forward I suppose ?

Yep, ininstall it then go to Play Store and re-install.

You can also try just wiping the cache from within the app. Go To Settings and scroll all the way to the bottom and select the relevant option.

You will lose all settings and any downloaded offline playlists I'm afraid. BUt it's the best step to troubleshoot the issue.
