HTC Desire S/Android 2.3.5 not compatible

Dear all,

after I have lost my previous smartphone I wanted to install Spotify on my "new" HTC Desire S/Android 2.3.5.

Unfortunately it seems my device is not compatible (error note says "Your device is not compatible with this version.").

Which is sad as I'm still paying for it..

Is there any chance to get the app otherwise (maybe from any external sites)?

That's strange - it should be fully compatible. The only reason it may not be compatible is due to either:

1. The fact that the desire has a small cache size [OR]
2. The fact that the desire has a tiny screen...

However, it should be compatible.

You used to be able to manually download the APK via m.spotify.com, however I am unsure as to whether you still can. I will have this looked into for you however.

Actually this APK from m.spotify.com works now... strange! But thanks anyway!
