How can I make my background color the same as my profile picture on Spotify android?

How can I make my background color the same as my picture on my android phone? Every time I change my picture different colors, the background is always green. My laptop and iPad's background colors are the same as my picture though...

It's not very clear to us which background or picture you're referring to. Could you share with us some screenshots showing these sections you want to change?, this way we can take a better look at them.

At the moment, unfortunately there isn't a setting that allows you to change the background color on the Android app. 

In this case, we recommend searching in our Ideas board to see if someone else has already suggested that so you can add your vote. If there aren't any ideas about it, you can add your own so others can then vote for it or add to the conversation to show their support. You can find the steps to submit a new idea in this article.

Can this feature be added as brown isn't that great if a colour to be stuck with and my current profile pic is green and black which I'd think it would at least be defaulted to green and would also like an option to change the colour for further profile pic changes to mach the colour of the background

We appreciate your feedback regarding the background color. However, this feature is not available yet in the app. 

A similar idea has already been suggested here - We'd recommend taking a look at its Status for more info. Any relevant updates about this will be posted there.

If you think your idea should be considered as separate, feel free to submit it again highlighting how your idea is distinct from the existing one.
