How can I remove a device from Connect?

How can I remove a device from Connect?

I have three devices listed under "Show Available Devices" section on my phone:

-SM-N9005 (This device)

-SM-P600 (Unavailable for playback)

-SM-P600

How can I get rid of the duplicate SM-P600 tablet that is always listed as unavailable (under listing for available deiveces)? My desktop client does not list the unavailable one.

I suppose the strange duplicate device could be behind my playback problems that started when Connect was introduced. Frequently when I start playback on my tablet, it plays the song for half a second before pausing again. I must switch the playback in my phone to SM-N9005 (This device), restart the song and then while playing transfer it to SM-P600. This fixes the problem for some time.

Spotify can you please tell s that you care at all about this its so annoying !!!!!!!

This is not possible. Spotify Connect is automatically generating a list of devices in your WiFi or Bluetooth range of where you are logged in with your Spotify account.
Kind regards,

While partly true, I have a device on my most that is 16 miles from my house...that's out of WiFi range

I connected to my brother in laws AVR during a recent visit. His reciever (Same as mine) continued to show up on my device list.

Now, my music plays on his reciever…300 miles away. Seriously wtf?

The fact that a connect device shows up when you're in the same LAN is how it should work. The problem (that I have too) is that when you use that device once, your account is linked to the device, so if you're in another place, you can still connect to the device. That's fine if you want this, but many users also want to "forget" devices they no longer use. This is not a feature in spotify, which is a pain in the ....
