How to stop constant Waze banner

My Question or Issue:

Everytime I open the app there is a banner to connect to Waze App. It happens if the app is open and I unlock my phone and opo back up the Spotify app.  I have this option turned off in the settings, but it keeps popping up regardless.

How do I get this to stop?

I didn't take screenshots, but I did find two web images that have the same waze banners that keep popping up.

Same issue with me on oneplus 3t, everything updated, and without waze app installed.
