My Question or Issue

I’m having trouble listening to downloaded artists/albums in offline mode.
I’ve already updated the app and reinstalled it several times, but the same issue persists.

When I’m offline and go into the downloads library and click on an artist, it loads the page as if I were online, and I can’t see or click on the downloaded albums.

Can anyone help me?
Thank you very much.

Hey @cmrgs1, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

Could you try turning offline mode on manually? See if that makes any difference.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top.
  2. Tap Settings and privacy.
  3. Tap Data-saving and offline.
  4. Switch Offline mode on.

Let me know how it goes. 🙂

Hello @Amay

That didn’t work either...
Even in offline mode when I click in the artist, it loads the main page showing the most listened songs and so on.
But when I click on “discography” it doesn’t load the downloads I’ve made.

Thanks for the reply @cmrgs1. In that case, even though you have tried re-installing the app, I'd recommend a clean-install of the app.

You can refer to this guide for more info.

Could you also confirm if you are using a SD card or a VPN service by any chance?

've done all those steps, reinstalled the app, and it's still the same.

Is there anything else you know I can do?

I don't use a VPN or a memory card.

I see. @cmrgs1 could you check if the issue persists on your account on other platforms or devices as well?

You can try this using the desktop app with the same account and then use a friend's phone temporarily to log into your account. This should give us more idea about the problem being device/account specific.

Remember to log out once tested to avoid unauthorized access. 🙂
