Landscape Mode - Soft-Key bar visible

Landscape Mode - Soft-Key bar visible

To whom it may concern

I'm using my old Nexus 5 with Android 5.1.1 (not rooted), Set Orientation and GMD Full Screen Immersive Mode as small "Now-Playing"-Screen in my living room.

With Spotify 3.4.0.764 this worked very well and looked like this:

Spotify 3.4.0.764.

But since Spotify 3.5.0.963 (beta-versions not tested) it looks like this:

Spotify 3.5.0.963

Even though the soft keys are hidden, the app does not use the full screen anymore.

Is this behavior intended?

If not, is it possible to somehow fix this in an upcoming version? It really bothers me...

I'll use 3.4.0.764 until further notice, but this isn't a permanent solution.

Sincerely, Skulblaka

You're situation isn't really a standard issue, but i do see where you are coming from. You're best posting this in the Ideas section

If I wanted to do standard stuff I would use my iPhone 😛

In my mind, the Ideas section is to request new features, but I consider my issue a bug rather than a feature request.

I would have to disagree myself, a bug is an issue that affects the usability of the application in a standard scenario. It is your decision to play with your device to hide the nav bar thus you are affecting the way in which the Spotify app works.

I agree that this clearly wasn't an issue before and had come about from a recent update, your evidence is proof of this. However I don't think it can be classed as bug but more of a feature request.
