Hey there @mrdududu,

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're sorry to hear that you experience this.

Another useful step in are to change the source folder of the local files on the pc. The steps are: Uninstall Spotify on both devices > create a new folder somewhere else on the pc and move the local files there > install Spotify again > remove any potential source folders and add the new one > download the playlist again.

Keep us posted 🙂

Cheers!

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

If I uninstall and reinstall Spotify, do I lose all my homescreen playlist
buttons that I have created? I have about 200 of them organised into
folders.

Hi there @mrdududu,

Thanks for the reply.

Everything in Your Library including playlists, albums and Liked songs will remain exactly the same. You'll need to redownload your Offline songs after the clean reinstall though as you'll have to clear the app cache.

It's also worth trying to connect to another network or a Mobile Hotspot (both on your computer and phone) when reuploading the local files, as some routers might block this functionality so the files appear grayed out.

Let us know how it goes.
