Hi.
My problem is rather a common one but I haven't found a working solution yet.
As in the title - my local files won't sync to my Android device. What is more interesting - my local files won't sync across any of my devices.
Here is the list of things that I have tried:
- clean reinstallation of Spotify App (on my phone, MacBook and Windows PC),
- checking Spotify syncing on different WiFi network (my own WiFi and my girlfriend's WiFi - different ISPs),
- downgrading Spotify app on MacBook,
- downgrading Spotify app on Windows PC (Windows 10),
- changing my local files directory on PC,
- changing Storage location on Spotify app on Android device (from SD Card to internal storage),
- disabling firewall on my router,
- reenabling upnp on my router,
- disabling firewall and antivirius on Windows PC,
- creating new Premium account to see if the problem is account related (it is not - syncing doesn't work on the new account),
- connecting my PC and MacBook to hotspot created on my Android device,
- deleting offline devices from my account,
- enabling offline mode on both devices (MacBook and Android) for some time and reenabling online mode again,
- creating new playlists to store my local files.
None of the above has worked.
I am also sure that I haven't reached the limit of 3,333 songs per device (I have roughly 450 local files).
I am a premium user, of course.
My devices:
MacBook Pro late 2017 with newest MacOS,
Samsung Galaxy Note8 with Android Oreo,
Desktop PC with Windows 10.
I would love to see some solution, because I am paying for the service but as for now it is not working as it should.
