Lockscreen widget doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S8

My Question or Issue

When I try to skip a song on the lockscreen widget, it only lets me skip one song and then it just keeps repeating the current song when I try it again, so I have to unlock my phone to skip the song. Also, pausing the song doesn't work on the widget, it only stops the song for 1 second and then it continues to play it. Please fix this bug, it has been a bug for more than half a year and it's super annoying.
