Lockscreen widget not showing android 6.0.1

Hi, I tried changing my notification settings and a restart, but I can't get the lockscreen widget to work on my samsung galaxy a5 2016.

Have you checked that spotify has permission to show notifications on the lock screen in android settings>lock screeen and security>notifications?

I checked it and it does. When playing music, the lockscrezn looks like this:

So there is a notification, but no controls.

Ah, that's not what you said originally. Can you also check in android settings>notifications>advanced that spotify isn't set to hide content on lock screen. Just out of interest, can you not expand the notification by touching it and dragging down just a little? If that doesn't work, please let me know:

1. Android version
2. Spotify version
3. Is your device rooted?
4. Are you using a custom ROM?
