Hello,
- I am a premium Spotify user
- I am using an S9 note Android phone with Android Pie version
My Spotify account on the Android phone was in Offline Mode and accidentally I've logged out of the application. Now I cannot log in anymore due to the following error: "You are currently set to offline". I have read almost all the threads on this community forum and have tried all the suggestions official and non-official ones. Seems that the only real solution is to delete the application and re-install it, but I lose all my offline songs that are more than 30 GB. So, I need to re-download them again. It takes time. Then my question is why I am paying for it?! it's not only about music but also about service quality and support.
Making a thorough analysis, I saw that the offline login issue is known from the 2017 year, at least. I just don't get why Spotify doesn't fix it or declare that it doesn't know how to solve it or simply state it cannot be solved. Since the workaround Spotify officially provides doesn't work for most of the users, including me.
Another bothering point is the official position of Spotify that says it is a known bug and it is ongoing. Hey, it is already ongoing for at least 2 years! And is asking to vote in order to understand that it is a general problem. Really? Didn't you get already some statistics in the past 2 years?
So, it is hard to believe that Spotify doesn't recognize that it is a general problem. If it is not, a statistics report or just a statement that "it's a small problem and that Spotify doesn't care to solve it, since there are other priorities" would help the customers to understand what's going on.
Don't feed the customer with false hopes.
