Make spotify stop when hear a voice note

Spotify used to stop playing when I received a voice message and play it, or set play to another app audio or video, the play again when it finish. But now it does not, just low volume or so, but it doesn't work for me. How I set to do that again?

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.

To start, we'd like to know if this started happening after a certain event such as an app or OS update. 

Also, it's a good idea to run a clean reinstall of the app. It will ensure your phone is free of old files and that the app is set up again in alignment with any settings from your phone.
