Missing setting to turn off Spotify Connect

Having searched this forum and using good old Google, I see I'm not the only one missing the option to turn off/on Spotify Connect. It keeps showing on my Android when playing on my PC. This is really annoying and taxing on the battery and it interferes with other audio apps on the Android. Setting the app to offline isn't an useful option, especially since you cant do it when it's connected, which it have done without me wanting it to!

The battery drain of Spotify Connect is a real issue - I hope it gets finally fixed.

I read through some of the other treads, but I couldn't see any official usefull responce, which is why I decided to make a new one. I'm thinking if enough of their customers contact them regarding the issue, at some point they will respond.

The bad thing is, I already stopped listening because of this. Next thing would be to quit my subscription. I can't understand they marked this as "not now" because it is an absolute deal-breaker if your inactive devices drain a massive amount of the battery if you're listeing on another device. I really hope they change that soon.
