Music Stops Playing Randomly

I was looking at the forums and noticed this was an issue a few years ago, but this is my first time experiencing said issue.

Spotify will randomly stop playing every few minutes, anywhere from 10-30 minutes. It will completely exit out of the app as if I was never using it. It will do so in the middle of songs many times.

I pay for premium and use Spotify all day and most nights, so this is quite frustrating.  I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. I currently have an S9+, and I know the problem was limited to Galaxy's the first time. Wondering if that is the issue again. Either way, hoping for a fix because  I have been a loyal Spotify user for some time now and do not feel like changing subscribers, but will find a better one if I must.

This is happening me to as well. It's driving me crazy. It just stops playing then we I try and press play I have to reopen the app. I've tried turning off the battery saving mode and closing in all other divices.

This started happening with me also and my phone is a HTC U11.  For example, this morning I shuffle played Spotify's playlist "Have a Great Day!".  After about 45 minutes when it came to the end of a song, it stopped. 

If I resume playback on a playlist, it tends to stop after a few songs.  In the past, the only time it would stop was when it ran out of songs to play.  This is quite annoying during my hour drive to work as I must pull in somewhere to touch shuffle play again.

I have power saving turned off.  For the Spotify App, I have background activity turned on and battery optimization set to 'Not optimized'.

This has been happening to me for the last 2--3 weeks on both my Huawei android phone and iPad. Music will just stop playing, sometimes at the end of the song and other times mid song. Sometimes a couple of minutes in, other times up to half an hour in. It's frustrating that Spotify has no direct customer service, their help options suck, I had a hard time just finding this forum. I'm paying for this service so expect some kind of accountability.

I have also had this same problem. It's frustrating because I use Spotify for when I travel. I'm on the road quite often and it stop's playing after one or two some and it has become very irritating because I'll have to open my phone and go back to the app then it'll start playing again.
