It sounds like you logged in using the wrong credentials and created a new empty account. If you have a premium receipt, you can check the user name shown there. Otherwise, log out and try logging in with your spotify user name (not an email address).
Another thing you can try is to search for one of your playlists on spotify and check the user name shown there.
