Contemplating on becoming a subscriber..
Just a few question prior to taking the plunge.
I own a few devices, maybe more then some or average then a user.
Smart Phone Galaxy S4 *Fully updated* for my region.
Tablet samsung SM-210R *Fully updated* for my region.
My main concern is memory usage for offline usage.
Will it default to device memory or can it be forced to external SD storage?
Both using kitkat O/S
I would either bring 1 or both for the ride in the car.
Also a question on usage.
I like it high ql in the house yet low ql when i'm BBQ'ing if i'm heading in the house pick up ingredients while having it going on in HQ can i still head back outside and still listen to it while out doors flipping the food?
1 would be using web based as outside i'de have tablet with bluetooth speaker?
Still on the same network. (Would be 1 IP).
Is there a maximum of offline songs limited? Limited to storage?
Thanks.

In regards to the amount of space used there are various factors to consider; but as a general rule of thumb the below should provide a good idea of the data usage:
Normal Quality (96 kbps) - 0.75 MB per minute (for 10 hours that would be roughly 450MB)
High Quality (160 kbps) - 1.25 MB per minute (for 10 hours that would be roughly 750MB)
Extreme Quality (320 kbps) - 2.5 MB per minute (for 10 hours that would be roughly 1500MB or 1.5GB)
For your second question; On installation of the Spotify app the process will determine the storage with most free space (typically an SD card). If the SD has most free space it will set the cache here. There are tips for ensuring the cache does get located to the SD card as some users find it still goes to internal. Read this guide to help ensure your cache is correctly located to the SD card:

Meridith HUGE thanks..!!!
If you've got a question about syncing your music offline on an Android device, we have a couple FAQs here:
1. With an active Internet connection, select a playlist.
2. Tap Available Offline to ON at the top of the playlist.
3. A green arrow will appear next to the playlist when it’s available.
4. Turn on Offline Mode in Settings > Playback and tapping the switch at the top.
How do I remove my offline devices?
Why does Spotify sometimes top syncing offline playlists?
If tracks or playlists aren't fully syncing, check:
Can I listen offline on more than one device?
Yes. You can save playlists for offline use on up to 3 devices. For example, you could use offline mode on your computer, tablet, and mobile phone at the same time. If you attempt to use offline mode on more than three devices, the oldest registered device won't work offline.
How many tracks can I sync to my device?
With a Spotify Premium subscription, you can sync for offline use 3,333 tracks from the Spotify catalogue on each device (phone, tablet, computer, etc.). If you're syncing your local files, there is no limit.
3 devices is huge to me!
I love long trips and long vacations! 30 days is all i need before any of those devices re-connect!
Yet typically on HD, 10 Houres of songs would requiere how much space?
And the space used can it be moved to an SD card/MicroSD card on KitKat?
