My Question or Issue

Before the new update, on my phone I could easily switch to offline mode by just clicking offline mode where my wifi and data buttons were but now it has suddenly dissapeared and  now I have to go into spotify and then switch it to offline mode, is this because of the new update or is it something else?

Hey @Dbhavan, I'll be happy to help.

 

Offline Mode is turned off when there is an internet connection, and then it turns on when there is no internet connection available. You should be able to control whether Offline Mode is 'On' or 'Off' by going to Home in the Spotify app > Settings Playback Turn Offline to 'on' or 'off'.

 

There has been a recent update, which may be why these changes have affected you.

Hi I understand that but you could before manually set offline mode, but
now you can't, cause when I'm out and my mobile data is on as well as
spotify, I get my data eaten by spotify.
