Playing screen issues

I am having issues with my playing screen. When I go to play a song on my galaxy s8, the album art doesn't show up anymore. Just a a colored screen with the play controls. I tried re installing it and still got the same issue. Can you help with this?

Hope you are doing great!

Please try to disable Spotify and disconnect from any bluetooth connected device.

Try another network as well. If you can, just rename the Bluetooth device to see if that helps.

I tried disconnecting it from the bluetooth and renaming it and I still get
a blank background. I don't know why it all the sudden started doing this

Looks like a new feature update from spotify.. if it is.. it is STUPID. No Album art, can't swipe to switch tracks, can't add music to playlists... please revert this change or I'll encourage others to join Apple or Google Play services.
