Playing uninterruptedly

Does spotify app imposes a limit for how long can you play continuously?

I installed the app on a phone, plugged on the wall charger and simply let it playing at morning. I observed that, although it keeps playing for te whole day, it stops overnight and when I check it the other day it's not playing anymore.

I made this test playing a playlist from another user and playing a radio, same results.

Of course, I did check to play the playlist repeatdly
