What's new in this version:
- Fixed: An occasional problem that could remove offline playlists from the device.
I've had this problem on my new LG VS930 (Spectrum2) running ICS 4.0.4 since I got it a few months ago.
Really hoping this fixes the problem.
My device is encrypted (corporate policy) and I wondered if that caused the problem.
But my older Motorola Droid 4 was encrypted and never had any playlists go away.
Landscape mode!
Better sorting!
SD card support!
What is Android development team doing? Not trying to satisfy paying customers, that's for sure.
+1 to the guy above me for request for landscape mode (or any mode that's better suited for cars)
- Fixed: Save to SD card
No, wait.
Seriously, if this is too challenging to solve, perhaps you should employ some competant developers? Hmm?
ffs
Even though I too am really waiting for SD card support in Spotify on Android ... I fail to see how the posters above think they will speed up that development by ranting on it in the release notes thread.
If just about every thread that is started by spotify themselves is being filled with "I want this or else" and "I want that or else .... " I fully understand why they do NOT listen to that, just like I don't listen to my kids when they cannot stop whining about something they want and they already made that clear to me on numerous occasions.
They know what is wanted, they wil have their reasons not to implement it at this moment. They could have been more communicative about it, but in the end ... it is everyones free choice to stop using it.
I've mentioned it elsewhere... but if you really want the developers to get their ass into gear you have to stop paying them! There are other services out there that have all of those features mentioned, plus some other perks, like not requiring you to use that ridiculous method of building a "collection" by randomly sorted playlists. Seriously, Spotify does notthing for their customers, move to a new service.
Hey there, I tried Rdio.
The mobile app was too poor; sound quality was awful compared to Spotify Mobile.
Please Spotify improve your Mobile app, I need SD card storage and maybe more cool features. 😉
