Repeat function automatically turning on whenever I plug into my car

Whenever I plug into my car the repeat function in Spotify turns on. I then have to go into the app and turn it off. This happens every time I plug into my car without fail.

I am using Android Auto and a Pixel 9 Pro XL

I too have this issue but it's not confined to in the car, occurs irregardless of situation. There are years worth of tickets open on this issue and some random mod will come in and say**bleep** about clearing cache or reinstalling the app but it doesn't work long term. My advice is to chuck a tantrum and go to a different music streaming platform.
