SD storage android 5.0.2

Hi guys,

I want to re-use my old LG L90 as mp3 player by using spotify. I inserted a 32 GB sd-card and my phone is running on android 5.0.2. There is only one problem: when I'm opening Spotify and go to settings, there is no option to move my music to my sd card. My phone recognises my sd card, but Spotify clearly doesn't. Help me, I need to fix this!

That doesn't sound good. Can you let us know which Spotify version you're using?

Did this issue start happening after a specific update or event?

We'll see what we can suggest.

Could you try reformatting the SD card in the phone then reinstall spotify as described here. Hopefullly things will work as they should.

I'm using the 7.4.0.1779 armV7 version. I don't know if this problem was present before I re-installed Spotify. I cleared my whole phone and installed Spotify again. So it's the newest version.

In this case, can you try removing the SD card, reinstalling the app, then reinserting the SD card. If this doesn't work, do you have another SD card you could try with?
