Samsung Galaxy A71 Lock Screen Controls

My Device is a Samsung Galaxy A71 5g running Android 10

The issue was that music controls would not show on the lock screen. I tried all of the other suggestions for making them show up (and I'm not sure if they are also required to make it work) including:
 - Logging out and back into Spotify
 - Doing a full uninstall/reinstall of Spotify, including deleting my local cache
 - Turning off Battery Optimization for Spotify

But I figured it out! The critical step (that I suspect affects all Galaxy Devices) is:
 - Install Samsung Music from the Play Store
 - Connect Samsung Music to Spotify if it isn't already connected
 - In Samsung Music, go to Options and enable "Control Music from Lock screen"

Now, when I open Spotify, play a song, lock my phone, and then turn the screen back on, I see the song/artist, as well as basic music controls.

If I pause my music and let the screen turn back off, and turn the screen back on, my music controls are missing - but if I swipe right on my clock on the lock screen, the music controls re-appear.

The only small feature missing is some sort of album art garnish on the controls, but I think that's Samsung's fault, not Spotify's.
