Songs not playing?

I'm on an android device and I have Spotify premium. If I try to play a song, I get no audio but the seconds will tick down on the timer as if it was playing. If I press the pause button the timer goes back to zero. I've reinstalled the app and restarted my phone but nothing happened. Help?

Silly question, but have you checked your volume is up? Also do other apps such as YouTube play sound OK?

What phone, Android Version and Spotify app version are you using?

Other apps sound okay. I'm using a Marshall London, Android version 5.0.2 and the newest version of Spotify.
