Sort playlist by recently added needs a fix

When sorting a playlist by recently added, and then change to a new playlist and then go back. The app has gone back to default sorting. Need to fix that, so the app remember your settings.

Agreed. It's a huge pain to constantly sort my longer (and most frequently used) playlists by Recently Added so I can listen to the newest songs each time I launch Spotify.

It'd be REALLY great if sorting state saved per playlist and persist if the app is closed or another playlist is selected.

I see this is an old topic, has it been addressed? I was going to start a new thread, but decided to search first. There should be a way to make 'Recently Added' the default sort. Thanks!

I echo this. Once I’ve sorted the playlist in the order I’d like it to play in it then never stays in that preferred order/sorting. As soon as you leave to another song or playlist and come back - the sorting is back to default.
