Speaker Group (multiroom speakers) functionality gone

My Question or Issue

I can't Chromecast to a speaker group I created in the Google Home app for my 2 JBL Playlist wifi speakers. I used to be able do this from Spotify, to play audio in two rooms simultaneously. Now I can only use Spotify Connect with a single speaker at a time or my TV. See attached image. 

The weird thing is that the speaker group works fine in other apps such as Pocketcasts.

Did you remove this functionality in a recent update or something?
