Spotify Bug with Anker SoundCore 2

Hey there ^^

Just recieved my Anker SoundCore2 bluetooth speaker, and I noticed the following:

The play button is not able to start my music. 
I can skip songs, stop the current song, start the google
assistant – but it won't resume the playback if stopped.

I'm running Spotify on my S8 Plus (all software is up to date).

The problem is definately caused by Spotify! The button works with Amazon Music like it should, it's just being weird with Spotify.

Any ideas?
