Spotify Offline Mode - How does it work?

Hi!

If I get a phone that supports mobile Spotify, and I download playlists to play when Im offline, does my phone need to be 'awake', or can I let it go into standby while its playing? I would like to know to estimate battery time while playing offline.

Hello!

You can lock your iPhone while your music is playing on Spotify and it will play in the background 🙂 But, if you are downloading your playlist for offline use using cellular data, you need to keep it awake while it is downloading those songs for offline use.
