Spotify app has never worked correctly

The app has never worked correctly for me. I have autoplay ticked but it never autoplays, instead replays the same song. I have reinstalled the app, signed out everywhere, toggled it on and off, changed other settings (crossfade)...nothing works. Not very impressive from Spotify. I also find when I am streaming to my Roberts radio, it plays 2 songs then stops, every time. These things drive me mad every day...can anyone help? The tips online from Spotify are not good enough...these glitches should not happen for a service which I pay โฌ144 per year.
