This issue has been brought up almost a year ago and you guys refuse to fix it or provide real solutions. Everyone has tried your steps and provides feedback but we get the same responses. It's pretty obvious how important this issue is to you guys.
I agree with your frustration, the last moderator who replied, Ivelina, didn't even bother to look at the thread history to see that I was not new to this thread. They wrote "welcome to the thread" and even asked me to provide information I had already provided Which I did, again. When just glancing to the previous pages one would see the history of the interactions, would see that I was brought to this thread by another moderator who merged my previous post and would see that the issue has been persistent.
The way Spotify deals with users bringing issues makes us reliant on these moderators, who I assume are volunteers, to escalate our issue so that someone who can actually fix it even looks at it. As we stand we have no reason to believe this issue, which multiple different people, from different places and devices have had, and have been willing to share troubleshooting data, is ever going to land at the inbox of someone at Spotify who can actually do something to fix it. It is super frustrating.
This is what I mean when I say I have been using this app less and less because of this bug. It makes using and listening to music just impossible. It is actually making me unhappy.
My 7th gen Fire HD wokrs maybe 0ne update out of 5 (in spite of repeatedly trying all the above "fixes") in the last 18 months - my wife's 11th gen - no problems at all in this.
Very disappointing, and led to me reuctantl;y butong an iPad!!
I also have a Kindle Fire 7 (7th generation). I'm a Spotify premium member and first posted on this thread about 6 months ago. Still having issues which you won't be surprised. Like the above poster, a very few updates work partially but the rest don't work. Against my better judgment, I recently updated it from a version that was partially working and now it won't work at all...
I have an open ticket with support for a month now. Keep getting the same run around, "they're working on it" "no ETA" . One of the more recent comments was that they are waiting for more reports of the issue to investigate further so there is no point in raising the issue here, you need to open a ticket with support or they're not going to do anything apparently. If you have this issue please raise an issue with support directly rather than here in the community.

My Question or Issue
i tried uninstalling it, i tried clearing data, neither of them worked, i just can't open spotify without it crashing immediately. i couldn't find it on the amazon appstore until i tapped "open the app" on the website and it opened the spotify download in the appstore. this is incredibly frustrating. how do i fix this? i just want to listen to some music 😕
I have an open ticket with support on this and it has been open for over a month. Anyone wanting this resolved also needs to open a support ticket as they told me they are waiting for more examples of the issue. Nothing will be resolved for this here in the support community. You have to contact support.
Hey folks!
Could you let us know if there've been any changes with the app behaviour on your end after the last recent updates?
Many thanks in advance!
