Spotify crashes when trying to open song settings (3 little dots)

My Question or Issue

My Spotify always crashes if I press the song settings (or long on the song), to add it into my playlist or in my queue for example.

I've already reinstalled Spotify and changed the battery settings

I was replying to Catboto. The download he/she suggested worked and it did not contain malware, which might be an issue with sources outside of the playstore

yep same here :L just got redmi 8 pro and just found out about this problem

Honestly gg on a go to Amazon the ui isn't as good but it's a lot faster and does not have this problem 

I might return if they fix

For all the Redmi Note 8 Pro users, Xiaomi just released MIUI 11, it doesnt have all features, but Spotify is fixed now

For the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Users, the issue is fixed with MIUI 11.0.1.

To avoid future problems I recommend to see what changes Xiaomi did between the latest MIUI 10 and 11, so you may identify the possible causes for this issue within the Spotify Menu UI.

Also note, that the version 6.3.0.882 did work and 6.5.0.1816 did not in MIUI 10.
