Spotify doesn't work on android

My Question or Issue

Spotify will open but say I'm offline or say i can't go to library because there is an issue. Can't update the app and removing and reinstall it doesn't work

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and for performing some troubleshooting.

Did you by any chance notice if the issue occurred after something specific?

Since a reinstall didn't work, consider testing with a different network connection (mobile data shared via hotspot/Wi-Fi). 

Sometimes the issue could be on Spotify's server side, blocking the specific login token. In this case, go to your Account Page then scroll down to Security and privacy > Sign out everywhere for a refresh. After this, log in only on your mobile device.

Lastly, since this is happening on a Samsung phone, make sure to also disable any battery optimization or restriction settings. Go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Battery and change the setting from Optimized or Restricted to Unrestricted.
