Spotify keeps crashing and stops playing

Help! I just got a brand new moto G5 plus and been using Spotify premium for more than a year but with this new device the app stops itself every now and then. Even with songs I downloaded to listen offline, it plays one second and then stops itself. I've done all possible troubleshooting but the problem persists. Help!!!!
