My Question or Issue

Steps to reproduce:

1.Close spotify (do not leave running in background)

2. Open spotify

 

Actual result:

Spotify loads twice

Expected result:

Spotify loads once

Thanks for the video recording!

This looks like a cache-related local issue to me 🙂
Try removing the device's cached data and see how the app behaves after this.

A step further would be to go for a complete clean reinstall of the app but I don't think you'll have to go that far.

Could you please share a screen-recording of the issue? This will help me take a closer look at what's wrong. Also, make sure your app is updated to the latest version from the play store.

As you can see the icons load in twice

 

Also the app is updated to the most recent version
