Spotify won't sync local files

When I download my playlist to my android (Sony Experia ST27i) all my local files are unplayable. They do appear on the phone, but when I try to play them it says ''the song is not available''.
One more thing: when I am on the computer, my phone won't show under ''devices''. 
I have followed every instruction but nothing works...
Please help!

Thanks, that fix did it for me.

I am really disappointed in Spotify to be honest.  I also did try turning off my firewall with the newer versions ... nothing really works except that download.

I'm not so much disappointed ... as I am angry.

Yess!!! it works. I've tried them all (firewall, local files on another playlist, etc.) and this is the right one 😉

It looks like file syncing has been fixed for me with the latest PC client update (ver. 1.0.26.132.ga4e3ccee).

I solved my issue with my local files not syncing.

My setup for my network is my desktop if hardwired to my modem. And my router has it own port on the modem as well. All I had to do was plug the wire from my desktop into the router and that was what fixed it.

Hope this helps some people out.

Wow! thank you so much I tried for about a week to sync my local files to my phone and nothing worked, I saw this post and stopped windows firewall and now I can listen to the best album: regional at best.
