Streaming on Android

Why on earth can I not stream music on an Android wifi only tablet? I don't want to sync files for offline use, I just want to listen online whilst connected to a WiFi network.

Is it not possible? If not, I'll sign up to a different provider.

I've just taken a look at your account and you're currently on the Unlimited version of Spotify. If you wish to use Spotify on your tablet, you'd need to update to Premium. You can update from your subscription page.

Yes, but from what I can see of the Android app, there's no way to listen to a stream other than to download the tracks (which means they're not streaming).

Is this correct, is it really not possible to listen to a stream?

You should be able to stream the tracks on the Premium service. When you've upgraded, just tap on the track and it should start playing.
