Hello I am having trouble connecting to Facebook friends, it says I cannot connect to Facebook because my Facebook account is connected to another spotify account. When I first got spotify I registered and signed up using Facebook ( that spotify account should have been cancelled) and I am now signed in using a username, does this mean I cannot sign into Facebook now? And why is it saying I have another account? I hope this makes some sense to you Many thanks in advance.

i appologise for the lengthy time it took me to comeback to you, ive been very busy lately 😞

 

i suggest you contact spotify support to assit you with your issue 🙂

If you receive a No-Reply email that says to check out the FAQ or Community just reply to that email and Spotify support will contact you 🙂

Support takes 24-48 hours to reply to you if they have not replied to you by tomorrow you can ask me here and i will escalate the issue for you 🙂

You need to delete your old account (the one created with Facebook) to be able to link it to the new account 🙂

Sorry for the delay, I have only just seen this message thanks ever so much I have tried logging in to my old Facebook account with spotify (it had the option to go premium which it used to be until I got my new account which I used to sing in using my emails address etc without Facebook) but i still can't work out how to delete that account permanently only have a mobile and no computer either x
