Unplayed Filter Has Stopped Working


I have noticed over the past couple of months that the Unplayed filter has stopped working. This filter used to remove all the podcast episodes I had started, but now all episodes are displayed regardless of whether I have listen to them or not. I listened to an episode the yesterday, and today when I go in and apply the Unplayed filter, the newest episode is still there, along with all other episodes regardless of whether I have listened to them or not.


Can anyone help fix this issue.

Thanks for posting in the Community.


We suggest you start with a clean reinstall of the app as described here, so we can make sure you're running a fresh installation of the app on your affected devices. If this doesn't do it, you can try reproducing the issue with a different account. How did that go? Also try your account on a different device of the same kind.


We'd also need the brand/model and operating system of your devices together with the Spotify version you're using on them.
