My Question or Issue

I have been using an earlier version of spotify for a long time and I could always touch and hold the search button to search via voice. Alternatively, there was mic button beside search bar.

I enrolled into trial today to try out premium and updated the app to latest on play store. But I am not able to search via voice through either of the methods. 

Am I missing some settings or something, or the feature has been really scrapped out? 🤔

By any chance have you changed the country your account is registered in? If you did, this may be the reason since Voice Search is a feature that is not available in India.

Spotify often tests improvements and new features for its content, this means you might get a new feature to try temporarily. You can read more about it here.
