Weird location-based playback problem

I use Spotify in four locations: on my PC at work, and on my Android phone in my car (bluetooth), at the gym by my office, and at the gym by my home.

It works great everywhere EXCEPT for at the gym by my house.  It doesn't matter if I try to start listening at home before walking over or once I'm already there.  It doesn't matter if I'm connected to wifi (home or gym) or using my data.  It doesn't matter if my headphones are connected or unplugged (and I use the same headphones at both gyms).

Basically, if I am in my house or at the gym by my house, the song looks like it's playing, but absolutely no music is playing.  Other system sounds playback just fine (headphones and speakers).  I tried uninstalling and re-installing my app, no difference.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?  It's the weirdest thing.
