Wireless Hard Drive for Androids without Expandable Memory

Hello, I have seen some posts regarding iOS and wireless hard drives but I havent been able to find anything equivalent for Android. I have a Nexus 6P which unfortunately has no spot for expandable memory. I have limited data on my phone and tend to listen to a lot of music, so as such my 25gb of internal storage has been filled up with over 20gb of music. I am wondering if there is any way for me to stream Spotify music offline using a wireless hard drive connected to my phone. Thank you for your help.

t think of any way to make this work because of the way spotify files are protected. Even using a USB OTG flash drive won't work I'm afraid.
