android freezing problem

Welcome to Spotify Community. The question first is, what device are you currently using? Sometimes, the memory of the device affects the performance of the app, so it'd be better to have a space left when using it.

If you have a lot of memory space though on your phone, it would be better for you to reinstall the app though you will lose your saved music if you do it.
