how to clear cached data?

hello. 

is it possible to clear song cache from app data. I noticed that Spotify caches all my plays and it takes up a lot of storage, but I need only my downloaded singles/albums to be cached in data. if I clear my app data, it clears all including my downloads

To clear cached data for Spotify, go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage > Clear Cache. Hope that helped!

this is not the solution. 

app stores cached songs not in cache area, but in data area with all downloaded playlists/albums
