Anyone have a problem with the galaxy s5 after the software update. My spotify widget wont work

Make sure in your Android settings (Sound & Notification) that the Spotify app has access to create notifications and that notifications are set to all.

This is an Android Lollipop security thing with how notifications work... there are a few threads detailing the issue and how to fix if you search the forum for something like "Lollipop Notifications"

Can you try reinstalling the app?
