some local files stopped working

My Question or Issue

ok so i have this one local file that used to be completely fine but now on my phone it is greyed out. i can only play it if i directly tap on it in a playlist. my phone basically skips it if it comes on when i shuffle and i cannot add it to my queue or even to playlists from my phone. i used to have this problem with a lot of local files on my old phone too (it was a samsung galaxy a5). i cant find anyone with the same problem as me. please how do i fix this it drives me crazy.

Thank you for reaching out to us here in the Community.

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app.
