spotify stops playing in car on bluetooth

My Question or Issue

Hi so in the last week when i am listening to spotify in the car on bluetooth it randomly stops / pauses or freezes on the car display but the phone shows it is still playing. Other apps on the phone will still work when this happens which i guess means the connection isnt the problem.

Interesting. I'm also having this problem now, after the app update on/around 23rd August 2019.

Seems there is no resolution.
