stopping when casting, hangs telephone

My Question or Issue

 Stopping Spotify when casting makes chromecast go on playing on the chromecast but when I try to cast again my telephone hangs.  Other apps close casting when ended. (over left button)

Spotify is difficult to stop completely.

How long have you been having this issue for? Did this start happening after an app update? Also, if you have any pending firmware updates for your Chromecast, try installing them to see if it helps.
