Disable audio on scroll?

Just as the subject says, how do I disable the audio when scrolling with this new format? Even if I mute once, if I close Spotify and re-open Spotify, audio plays by default when scrolling. By default, I don't want audio if I'm just scrolling through. What is this??????

I agree. This is an issue for me as well. Not only will it not save your preference for the next time you open the app, you cannot access the mute button until you have scrolled down and started auto play. For this reason you will always hear at least 1-2 seconds of autoplaying audio no matter what. (This is the current functionality for the podcast filter view on the home tab)
